Ever since I made the leap to being a full time photographer, I have realized that I am among the lucky few who truly get to follow their passion every day. I wake, not dreading the workday ahead of me, but excited about the challenges of the next assignment. The diversity of my job leaves me no time for boredom. In short, I love my job. It suits me and I am grateful to live this life.
Early in my career I developed my skills as a photojournalist. I learned how to make something work every time I went out. There was no option of not getting a good shot. Later, I had the priviledge of working under many excellent portrait and commercial photographers. The skills I learned in lighting have helped lend a maturity to my style--to break away from simply being there at the right time. I learned to craft something of my subject.
The individual in me strives to find a creative way to photograph my subject. Be it a product, place or person, I want to make the photograph something I am proud to say that I shot. Ideally, I want to out-do my previous work with each upcoming job.
Currently, I am based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, though work often takes me far from here. If you find these images beautiful and have need of a photographer, I would love to talk with you. Send an email through the contact form, or call 612 558 9482.
Best,
T.C. Worley
